| Project SCORE Overview: Sport Psychology Life Skills for High School Student-Athletes | |

Project SCORE is a life skills program designed for high school student
athletes using sport psychology principles. Its purpose is to teach student athletes the skills and strategies needed to be successful in school, sports, and life, and to help them develop and practice the following characteristics:

Although any student athlete and school is likely to benefit from being involved in Project SCORE, this curriculum was designed to be implemented in schools and districts where students are under-performing or at-risk of dropping out. We also are committed to developing partnerships with businesses and professional sport teams to help make Project SCORE a success. These partnerships can include sponsorship of schools to fund a Project SCORE counselor or donations of products and services that can be used to reward the students for achieving their academic goals.
